Joao Palhinha returns to Benfica on a contract until 2030

Joao Palhinha has returned to Benfica after completing a permanent transfer from Bayern Munich. The 31-year-old midfielder signed a contract that runs until June 2030.

Benfica will pay a fixed fee of 14 million euros. The agreement can add another five million euros through bonuses, while the player’s release clause is set at 50 million euros.
